Ok i have made two cheesecakes today...one syn free and heb...amazing...and another 6 syns (the most amazing!!!!!) I have finally cracked it..well for me anyway.

both recipes have one thing in common and that's the cheesecake filling which is 100% free and even includes super free strawberrrys

Punned of ripe sstrawberrys
tub of qquark
mullerlight strawberry
sweetner
vanilla essence

basically put it all in a food processor and mix until creamy add sweetner to taste preference.
For the syn free base: 2 ryvitas blitzed with sweetner and drop of water to make it a moist crumbley texture... Place in bottom of glass and fill to the top with filling
for the 6 syns base : two low fat mcvities digestives but don't mash them up make like a tower of it..so for example biscuit , filling, biscuit more filling... OMFG YUMMMMM

Sounds nice, I really need to get a food processor!

Oh lol...ok maybe not so syn free lol...in my defence it was more chunks then a purée lol

Does mushing the strawberries make the content any different, i'm not understanding something here:confused:

This is where slimming world gets a bit ropey for me. Technically, tinned, cooked or puréed fruit needs to be synned. I get that you might eat more of it as it reduces in volume and the texture is less filling. However, if you use the same amount as you would if you ate it whole then I struggle to see the problem. For example, in my fanta sweet and sour I use half a fresh pineapple in chunks which I stir into it at the last minute so that it doesn't cook through. I really don't see the difference between that and cooking it through as it's the same amount. I say, if it doesn't affect your weight loss then go for it, if it does then maybe be stricter!

sounds lovely, i thunk i will give it a go x

So going to give the Rivita base one ago!

You can do this with Alpen light bars on the bottom as well which would be a healthy extra B !:flirt2:

very very tasty :) and for a treat (i know its not syn free thou) stir through one of the Options Hot Chocolate sachets which are a couple of syns

Total worth it :p and very YUMMY

that sounds scrummy - deffo gonna try that one!

i like the sound of using your heb for the crumbly base as I do think that a cheesecake needs a bit of a crunch to it, cannot wait to try it xx
