I've seen it mentioned countless times on these boards but don't know what it is. Can someone fill me in on what it is and the benefits of it, please?
Scan bran is a very high fibre crisp bread sold at SW meetings, I personally don't like them and use ryvita in recipes instead
Also available from holland & barretts
I had no idea either, so thanks for asking. Scandinavian Bran crisp bread...I see why Scan Bran is preferred *lol*

It's not very tasty but it has loads of fibre in it and so is really good for boosting your weight loss. I think one scan bran in 1 syn but they're meant to be really, really good.

I love scan bran! You get 5 for a Healthy B, or they are 1 Syn each. They are lovely either savoury or sweet. I like to top mine with laughing cow light and halved cherry tomatoes. Alternatively, for a sweet kick, top with chocolate philly and banana/strawberriesyum!
I have heard they are also good for bulking out things like porridge. Just grate a scan bran or two into your porridge and it will help to bulk it out and keep you fuller for longer.
Check out the Slimming World website for scan bran recipes such as carrot cake and curly wurly cake, etc!

They're an abomination.... I swear it's just bits of plywood. I tried them on their own which took me about 15 minutes to eat just one.... Also tried a chocolate cake but it just tasted like eating wood shavings mixed with cocoa powder...l.never again.
