How do u make nice sweet potato roasties or wedges?!?

I do them in the actifry but the oven will do just as well, and I add a little salt, paprika, and a VERY liberal splash of Maggi Liquid Seasoning. Wedges or roasties, just the same, proper tasty.

I do mine in the actifry too and its so quick! golden and crispy YUM. I add garlic and herbs (I do use a little oil but not the full spoonful). Dry roasting the oven is great too add some sea salt and whatever flavourings you want. The best thing about sw is spuds! God I couldnt live without them so the actifry was a great investment for me. The kids and hubby love it too.

I love these, usually i make them into wedges, spray with fry-lite, sprinkle with crushed garlic, rosemary or thyme. If I do normal potato wedges i like to put smokey paprika on them, gives them a nice flavour and they look even better.

I use red rooster potatoes, cut into wedges, not peeled just washed, part boil for 5 mins only, drain and shake to roughen the edges. In an ovenproof dish or tray sprayed with frylight, lay the potatoes out in a single level, spray again with frylight, sprinkle your favourite seasoning and cook for 15 mins at 200C, remove and turn over, return to oven and cook until browned.

OMG they look gorgeous!!

I start SW Wednesday... I already have a months worth of meals planned thanks to all your lovely posts!!

They do look lovely.
I've been making sweet potato wedges and they've been going down a treat. I tend to use a Tupperware box and spray a bit of frylite or use a teaspoon of olive oil I then add a couple of pinches of thyme and a couple of grinds of black pepper and sea salt to the oil. I add the wedges and give the box a good shake so it coats all over the wedges. You can leave them in the fridge all day and put them in the oven when you get in or just cook right away. We love them!

Sweet potato wedges are lovely :) I cut then pretty big as they cook quicker than white potatoes, I don't parboil them either. Just on a tray with oil or fry light and a mix of paprika, black pepper, salt and ground cumin. Cook 'til done. Yum!

i love making wedges nommm, with sweet potato.... do u eat the skins? lol i know silly question!

I do my roast potatoes in the same way I do my chips, but I cook mine on a chip net I bought in the £1 shop. Its just a coated wire flexible basket type thing and because the air circulates right around them, they go really crispy and you don't need to turn them during cooking either. I also add mixed herbs/seasoning/onion salt/etc., when I shake the potatoes up in the pan before they go in the oven, I love them, so much nicer than the 'old way' of cooking

I microwave a big sweet potato but not too soft. Then cut into wedges, sprinkle with piri piri and either put in the Airfryer or oven for 20 ish mins. Gorgeous. That's mine with hummous and salad.
