Hi all

I have been unable to find a SW intro thread. I have started SW 2 weeks ago and lost 6lbs so far. I am a midwife working shifts so am currently using online membership. I am 17 stone and 5 ft 3 so a long way to go. I am usually active but a rta in August has meant exercise has been replaced with physio so expecting sts or slow losses for a bit. Hopefully back to exercise by mid nov.

I was wondering if any one makes milkshakes? Considering trying quark, sw free ice cream or ice with milk blended (HEA or synned as appropriate) perhaps with highlights etc. If I eat cheese as a HA i have a tendancy to want more and dont drink milk on its own (texture thing) but need to up my calcium

Thoughts xx

well muller light, ha milk and ice blended is yum :) and filling. Will try quark etc another day .

I knowing sounds gross BUT if you whisk up two raw eggs (really whisk to froth not just with a fork) and mix it with the yoghurt and milk it really adds froth and depth to the milkshake. You really don't know its there and it makes it feel like a thick shake. Fills you up more too and could actually be used as breakfast if you blend some fruit like a banana in.

Before re anyone says it I know drinking/eating raw eggs is deemed contentious and is obviously NOT for pregnant women or anyone else in a category where they shouldn't but for anyone else it actually won't harm you as long as the eggs are fresh. A banana muller with a drop of vanilla essence, two whisked eggs and milk is really really nice.

Thr eggy milkshake sounds soo good, gonna have to try that! Do you think this would be considered a tweak tho? I suppose if you don't go overboard with them it would be okay
