Yep - all vinegars are syn free!

Even red wine vinegar?

Yep balsamic vinegar is free. But make sure it is vinegar and not dressing, as dressing has oil and is high in syns.

It's quite scary if you dont check, like i did with the stock granules today thinking they were same as cubes but they are synned!!

Oh yes, but on a positive note, oxo cubes used to be 1 syn when I last did S W but they are all free now as is Bovril chicken and beef

is rice vinegar free? I use it a lot for Thai salad dressings and thought it had syns, was going to swap to white wine vinegar xx

yep rice vinegar is free too. I love the stuff and use it in quite a lot of my stir fry type dishes.
