Pitta bread eaters
I was just wondering....it's a daft question really....how much does a wholemeal pita bread weigh/how many syns are they each? I've looked in my book, but it only gives the syns per weight and I don't have any at home to weigh
The asda wholemeal ones count as a Healthy Extra! Its annoying the asda ones seem to be the only brand at the moment though! Dont know if this actually helps or not as I dont know the syns!

Cheeky, the asda wholemeal ones are a HEXB, when I used to go to class Iwe were told that a HEXB is approx 6 syns.
I haven't got an Asda anywhere near me My main shop is Morrison's, but I can get to Tesco.
The Asda Wholemeal Pitta bread is a HEXB and weighs 55g.
i think most of them come out at abput 7 dont they???
A Tesco wholemeal pitta is 60g.
A Tesco wholemeal mini-pitta is about 30g.
It is definitely worth getting scales though as the weights do vary.
Donnie you'd must have been smaller than mine because when I weighed them they were all either 60g or 65g.
