Make your own pate, then it's syn free!
chicken livers, mixed herbs, bacon, onions, fry light... fry all til soft. Put in food processor and whiz with some quark!
For a Christmassy version, grate in a little orange rind and syn some dried cranberries and chop them finely and mix them into the processed mixture before putting in ramekins and cooling before refrigerating. It will cool to a spreadable consistency. Serve with HEb toast, HEb crackerbread or crudites!

hmmmmmmmmm this sounds BEAUT!!! I do like pate at xmas. . its the only time of year I ever eat it
