I have searched all the old threads about smoked mackerel and there are that many different results for the different brands that I haven't a clue what the syn value of this is, as I can't find these specific Sainsbury's ones on any of the threads I've read. I was just wondering if anybody knew/was able to find out for me?

The one I have found is 3.5 on EE and O and 22.5 on G

Hot Smoked Peppered Mackerel Fillets, twin pack, chilled, 125g each

Thanks so much for your reply, that looks like the right one to me. I think that's what they're called if you buy them online. So that's 3.5 Syns per 125g? Not the whole packet?

I have never understood why but different brands of smoked mackerel come up with different syns on syns online and I certainly can't tell any difference in their flavour or texture.

The Asda plain smoked mackerel comes out as only 1 syn for the whole 246g pack, and the Asda peppered mackerel comes out at 3 syns for the whole pack too.

That's why I couldn't figure out what the syn value for these ones were, there were so many different answers for different brands... very strange!

May have to pop to Asda next time Mackerel is on my menu, thanks
