How would I syn ???

I had a stew in the freezer today that I took out for OH & Dads tea and it smelled lovely, I diddnt have any as I was going to have stirfry, but it got me thinking, If I made another stew, how would I syn it, theres an awfull lot of gravy in a stew.

Also, can anybody surgest any nice recipies for the slow cooker?

Depends how you make it! If you made it with free things like stock, tomatoes, herbs etc it would be free, if you used anything with suns you would have to divide it between the amount of portions. Check the recipe section for lots of ideas!

Hi I make a syn free stew. I make a massive pot of it so I couldnt give you the exact recipe but I will give you a rough idea, basically you need

Maris piper potatoes
2 large onions
Carrots
Any other vegetable you want
2lb of lean steak pieces
White pepper
Beef oxo cubes

Put the steak pieces in a saucepan of boiling water with 2 oxo cubes added, cook for 1 hour on a med heat

Cut your potatoes into medium sized cubes, cut and peel carrots and other veg.

Put them into a large saucepan, crockpot and add 1 pint of water with about 8 oxo cubes and add some white pepper, add as much or as little as you like.

Drain the steak pieces and add to the pot, cook for 1 hour depending on how quickly your vegetables cook.
