Syn free????

My dad bought some burgers on the weekend from a butcher who only uses extra lean mince and he made them in front of my dad and dad said he only used the mince and the onion.
Now, I just spoke to my C about this and she said that they may not be syn free - not approved butcher etc. BUT she said I can have his mince as free.
Is she just being a cautious consultant or is it possible that his mince is free but some how he sneaks syns in despite only using raw, freshly chopped, onion? Personally I think she just can't support a butchers that isn't 'licensed' but wanted a second opinion. :)
I reckon these burgers are free.

Yes she is probably just being cautious. No-one can say for sure that the mince is extra lean in SW terms and therefore syn free. So I suppose it is up to you whether you want to count it or not.

Well she said that any extra lean mince is free but I shouldn't guarantee the burgers are free.
That's why I think she's being a bit cautious. I can buy the mince, add some onion and make syn free burgers but I can't guarantee that that's what he's done.
