Really confused.

Hi guys, I had a red day today and for dinner had chicken with potato wedges. So in the book it says you can 230g of potato with skin and when I weighed my potato it came up to 371 so I decided to have everything with the intention of syning the extra 141g. I made the wedges with frylight by the way. Anyway what is confusing me is in the book you have section for baked potato; flesh and skin weighed cooked 100g 7 syns, and then you have the section for potato; all varieties flesh and skin, raw 100g 2.5 syns. So my question here is which do I go with? Do I syn the potato after I have cooked it or before? Thank you. :)

Either, they should both work out about the same. Raw potato is heavier than cooked and that's why it appears to fewer syns. 100g of baked potato would be a lot more than 100g of raw if you see what I mean.

Phew! Thank you so much! I was freaking out as I knew the weight of the extra raw potato but didn't check the weight after cooking so I'm just gonna go ahead and syn it as 3.5. :D
