Scan Bran Ginger Cake 5 syns or 8.5 syns??

Hi,

On the website it says that the whole cake is 8.5 syns (serves one) but at the bottom is says in the tip that the whole cake is 5 syns???
I've looked at the ingredients and I cant see anything that would make it 8.5, just the syns for the Scan Brans at 1 syn each?
Is it a boo boo on their behalf?

If you mean this one, the stem ginger also needs synning (stem ginger is the crystallised, sugary version you get in a jar, not fresh root ginger). That would be 3½ syns for 25g, and Scan Bran are 1 syn each so that adds up to 8.5 syns like it says at the top, but youre right theyve messed up the bottom as it cant be both 8.5 syns AND 5 syns. The right answer is 8.5 syns.

Oh, I see now. I've been making it with fresh ginger or just ginger powder. So suppose mine has been 5 syns, not that great tho, bit eggy!
