I know this will possibly be in the wrong place but here goes.I lost six stones on the slimming world diet two yrs ago and I'm now about to give it another go. My group is not while Thurs so I have decided to give myself a head start.I am just wondering if there is anywhere I can find syn values.the particular item I am looking for is butter buds and I've forgot the syn value.I would be really grateful if anyone could help x

They are 0.5 syns per sachet.
If you're unsure of syn values it is always worth doing a search of the minimins site (located in the top right corner of the webpage) as invariably you'll find the answer there. That way, it saves you having to wait for someone to reply.

I love butter buds, especially on a jacket potato. I get mine from Lakeland on line. Does anyone know anywhere else to get them ? Also, whilst I am at it, what do other people use them for ????

I use them for Jacket potatoes or when cooking mushrooms.

As they are only 4 cal per sachet does that mean i can have 2 sachets for 0.5 syns (going off the 20 cal = 1 syn?) x
Not tried them but seen them at Lakeland.

Finally got round to buying some - good on new potatoes

But just read on the instructions that if you mix 1 x 20g sachet with 1 teaspoon of boiling water, let it stand for few mins, you can then use a pastry brush to brush it on toast.
mmmmmm drooling at the thought of buttery toast for 0.5syn (using 60g wm bread - as toast) x
