Syn values?

I was just wondering if anybody thinks maybe syn values of some foods are incorrect.

I had the tesco simply cook lamb shank for tea tonight, according to my slimming world app it's 1.5 syns. I've read online that it's fee. There seemed to be a hell of alot of fat on it and loads of dots of fat floating in the gravy. I really don't think it was free or 1.5 syns.

I just wondered what everyone else opinions are?

I have this once a week. I don't eat any fat or skin and don't eat too much gravy.

Its always possible there was a batch of relatively fatty meat that went into the production line. Meat isn't maths, you cant know to the last gram how much fat is in something, all syn values are averages provided the ingredients were used as listed.

How much fat was there, really? It can look a lot but even a teaspoon is only 2 syns and all those tiny droplets, you'd need a lot of them to add up to a teaspoon. They float too, so what is on the surface is all there is. I really wouldn't worry about it :)

Well I seen the gravy in the bag and decided I wasn't going to have the gravy with all that floating around in it lol
