Onken yogurts

These are no longer syn free as the recipe has been changed.
Artificial sweetners has been replaced,
vanilla is 4.5 syns for the whole pot,
Strawberry is 6.5 fir the whole pot.

....which is probably why I've put on 2lbs this week!!!!!

I am ABSOLUTELY gutted at this change of recipe, as I am NOT going to waste my syns on yogurt....Maybe it was Muller that made them change the recipe so that they can retrieve all the customers that went over to Onken from Muller Lights! ;o)

I'm going to drop a line to Onken I think!

Sorry but this is unlikely to be the reason why you gained 2lbs - the new version have only just hit the shelf in the past few days so it's more than likely that the ones you ate were the old style and therefore syn free.

I agree it's terrible news though as I really liked the Onken yoghurts. I always have syns left so I may just carry on using them though.

I've already checked my recycling, and all 3 that I've eaten this week were the new ingredients....I just didn't notice the "now without sweeteners" message on the top of the pot when I bought them....which is hardly surprising when you're in a rush around the supermarket with a 2 yr old!

I've already been to WI this week, and my food diary's have been checked, and there is nothing wrong with them....no reason to have gained, and as I generally use all my syns, it would make a difference to me.

You'd have to eat a hell of a lot of Onken to out 2lb on...

Its not the Onken, its just one of those things, Im sure you'll lose again next week :)

3 pots at 6 and a half syns a pot when you're already having 14 and a half syns per day = a lot of extra syns

Yes but it just under 20 syns so only 2000 calories - so barely more than enough calories for a half pound weight gain. But I feel your pain and hope it comes off again this week :)
