Pancake (Satur/Tues)Day

My friends and I always have a pancake get together the Saturday before Pancake Tuesday - it's a little tradition of ours.

So tonight we are all going around to my friends and she makes pancakes and we have a few of them and some wine.

I put on 1.5lb at my WI on Thurs even though I'd stuck to plan last week so I really don't want to jeopardise any loss this week.

My plan is to take some slimline tonic water and to drink fake g&t's. I'm going to have dinner before I go so I'm not hungry and syn one pancake. I am also going to bring lots of fresh fruit and berries so I can still participate in a healthier way.

How many syns should I leave for the pancake? I don't know if she's going to make crepes or fat American pancakes. I wasn't going to have any syns today so will that be enough do you think?

Not sure of the syns of the pancake but just wanted to say you sound really organised & in control. If you do want to have alcohol - Vodka is low syn (2.5 per normal shot) and tastes nice with the slimline tonic.

Hey well done on thinking ahead, think pancakes can range from 4 to 8 sins each depending on the size and how they are made, obviously toppings will add to this too, one pancake is a good bet as you say and maybe have the fruit on top of it with some creme freche or natural yogurt, or you could try freshly squeezed lemon juice and sweetener on top, thats my plan for when I have one in the week anyway!!
 
I make pancakes all the time.. SYN FREE!

I beat 3/4 eggs in a mixing bowl and add a few tsp of sweetener. I frylight a big frying pan (big frying pan so the egg is flat) and cook :D If i'm feeling the traditional sugar and lemon.. 2 tsp of sweetener on stop with a few squeezes of lemon juice :)

I also have these for breakfast with added mixed berries for me 1/3 superfree :)
