Mince and a grilling machine

Hi all,

The OH has a habit of buying lean mince instead of extra lean and I was wondering, if I made my burgers and put them in the grilling machine so that fat all gets drained out, would that make them acceptable as extra lean?

What do you think?

No afraid not. People have all sorts of things they do to try and remove the fat from lean mince like, draining off the oil or rinsing it in boiling water. But it makes no difference to the syn value.

Ah well. Worth asking.
