Balsamic Vinegar???

In the book its says all vinegars are free, but my SWC has just put on facebook that the Morrisons Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is 2syns per tbs. Surely that cant be right?! She put the info into the syns calculator and that is what it came out as.

Does any one know if this is true? I thought she might mean the Balsamic Glaze?

She is wrong - all vinegars are syn free but it will come out as having syns because there is no option to include vinegar as a free food on the syn calculator. Balsamic dressings however do have a syn value.

Phewww thats what I thought, Ive just text her the same thing about vinegar being free plus there being no option to put in a free food allowance! l knew the glaze would have syns as it has sugar in it!
