Equator Beer

I saw these in the new SW mag. 0% alcohol and 0 calories, means that it's free on all plans. Off to tesco now to get some, will let you know what it's like.

My OH is very excited to try it haha
 
Sounds like water to me! 0% alcohol 'beer'? :eek: What next? Chocolate-free chocolate? :8855:
 
I can say that it is actually pretty awesome haha. My OH is dead chuffed that he can feel like he's having a bevvie again with no worries =)
 
Just tried this for the first time tonight, saw it in the new mag and bought a 4 pack from Tesco today.

It's called Equator beer flavour drink and it's 0% alcohol and 0 Calories making it 0 syns.

Taste is actually pretty good, probably the best alcohol free beer I've tried with the huge bonus of it being syn free, this will hopefully get me some way through barbecue season when I ten to drink a lot of cold ones at the weekends, I won't feel like an outcast for not drinking.

Ooooh, this sounds interesting. I'm missing alcohol a little bit at the moment (not allowed due to medication) and this might be the answer. I'm also wondering what it would be like to cook with, I have a lovely recipe for slow-cooked ham and beans that uses beer and I've not made it since starting SW.

Definitely worth a try, the flavour is right, make sure you let us know how it goes :)

Just cracked my 2nd bottle, really feels like a treat lol

This looks brill. I'm going to to n get some tomorrow. Ive only been doing SW for a couple of weeks ( lost 6lb ) but I'm really missing a beer. Thanks
 
I got these today as well! They are definitely the closest to actual beer I've had. My OH approves also and is glad he can feel like he's having beer again without worry.

I also can't wait to try it in cooking, especially adding it to chilli, as before SW I always used to add a bottle of beer or cider before slow cooking it =)
 
Looking forward to trying this too!! I'm not bothered about the alcohol anyway. Nothing like an ice cold beer on a warm day, and now I can do it syn free, woohoo!
 
Ooooh, might try to find some of these at the weekend. In winter I don't seem to miss alcohol but when the sun starts shining I do getting a craving for a cold beer.

I'm exactly the same, when it starts getting like barbeque weather i just get cravings for a bevvie hah
 
I know have 4 in my fridge ready for this evening. I can't believe how excited I am about hop flavoured water!

6 bottles for £1 in asda at the mo, or 4 bigger bottles for £1. Got 8 bottles to try and omg they are good!! :) perfect for when it's BBQ weather again, really feels like I'm having a drink :)

Oops didn't realise I'd quoted previous post lol. I've picked up the wrong stuff, I've got Bavaria not equator!!! Does anyone know the syns for this???? I have 7 more bottles in my fridge!! Eek!
