    Syn free mash!

    Does anyone know how to make really good syn free mashed potatoes? It's my ultimate comfort food

    Use good quality potatoes like Maria piper or roosters. Add salt and pepper when mashing and use some milk from hexa when mashing.... Goes lovely and creamy. Or use laughing cow or Kerry low low spread. Mmmm want some mash now

    Add fat free yoghurt instead, it gives it a lovely taste.

    Quark is quiet nice in mash potatoes gives a slightly cheesy taste but makes them creamy.

    I also pop a raw egg into my mashed potatoe - it makes them taste a bit creamy

    I'm not even that keen on mash but these ideas sound good especially the one with stock x
    fast approaching 40 , managed to get into the 12 st bracket, cheerio 13 2nd attempt at SW but this time really 'getting' it
