Couldn't find mattesons but typed in wafer thin ham on my syns app and all but the Bernard Matthews ones came up as syn free

oh thats brilliant, i was panicking because i wasnt sure if 'wafer thin ham' counted as lean lol :) thank you ladies!! xx

I saw this thread and panicked haha, I thought I'd been munching on ham that I thought was free, I'd have be mortified if it had syns in it!! :D

I think the cheap ham, (like 30pcs for £1) have syns. I was munching on chicken roll thinkin it was free and it was 1syn PER SLICE!!! I'd just check before munching in future! Ha :)

ive been munching on wafer thin ham like the 30pcs for £1.50 haha i've lost this week so cant be all bad! :)

As far as I can see virtually all cooked ham is free on EE or R, as long as it has fat removed. That is irrespective of it price, because it cheap doesn't mean its full of fat, the manufacturers just adds extra water in it to bulk it up. All we have to bear in mind though is, that too much processed food is not particularly good for the digestive system. I lost 2 1/2 st in 5 month eating a pack of cheap ham virtually every day.
