    Can someone help me out with sausages please?

    Am doing an extra easy day- best of british premium pork sausages- each sausage has 140 cals, 4.1g carbs, 9.9g fat

    I could just syn then at 7 each? Or is there a special calculator that will help me syn them? All help appreciated!!

    week 1: -1 lb
    week 2: -4lb
    week 3-5: +2.5lb
    week 6: -3lb

    Aha, just found my old food optimising book- thick premium pork sausages 4.5. That's better

    Hatti, you need the official SW calculator to get the syn value of any food that contains free food. The pork in these would be chosen as the free food bringing the syn value down from the 7 (just using the calories) to the 4.5 they actually are. Dividing the calories by 20 only works when there is no free food allowance.
    This particular banger has probably been asked about before - if you can't find an item by doing a search (and assuming you're not a member yourself) ask on here for someone to put an item through the calculator for you.
