Thread: syn value in lloyd grossman curry sauce jars

I have searched on this forum to find the answer to this question, but to no avail. Do anyone know the syn value of:
Lloyd Grossman Rogan Josh curry sauce (350g jar) ?
And Lloyd Grossman tikka masala curry sauce (350g jar)?

Rogan josh jar is 22syns

Tikka Marsala is 23.5 per jar

Both are high in Syns I suggest you use recipe on this forum for both curries as most I make are SYN free I think both are PETE'S recipes (bless him all his recipes are lovely! ) thanks again Pete

The Weightwatchers tikka masala sauce is 12.5 syns a jar, and not too bad for a quick curry fix. They do a Rogan Josh one too, (I've only seen it once mind) and that was 9 (I think) for the jar..

OR The Sharwoods Rogan Josh, which is amazing, is 15 syns a jar

Thanks Auburn, i think I will try the WW one. Dont get me wrong, the Lloyd Grossman one is delicious, it doesn't taste oily like some others but its quite high in syns. I do make curries from scratch now and then, but sometimes I want something quick and easy, and hence use the jars (and count the syns of course). Will try WW next time and save a few syns. Thanks
