    pasta and sauce syns

    Hi all

Can anyone please confirm if pasta and sauce is now synned? In the New book it says, 'pasta and sauce - all varieties 4.5 syns'. It does not say, made up as directed i.e. With butter and milk. So i would assume this is the dried packet. Any consultants mentioned this?

Hopefully someone can dispel this nasty rumour for me lol xx

The book just gives average syn values so it is always best to check online for your specific brand and flavour as some will be higher and some lower in syns :-)

    Haha!

I think it's like PatchworkPuss said, they are only giving you the average syns. They might be basing it upon the pasta being made as directed as well (i.e. with milk/butter). If it's the ones you need to add milk to, like the cheese and broccoli one, I just take the milk from my HexA allowance and then I don't need to count any syns.

Are the syns the same for the tesco brand?

I've never had pasta n sauce. Does it taste okay with water instead of milk?

Yes its fine with water, not as creamy but if u haven't eaten it before u won't know the difference lol. All are individually synned. Most tomato ones are free and cheese ones are very know syns 1/2-1 or 2 x

Same, never use milk and still find them dead tasty. Don't know what I'd do without them!
