    Meat juice for gravy?!

Hello. My bf cooked a gammon joint for dinner tonight and told me he put some of the juices in the gravy

wish he had said he was going to so I could stop him (very frustrated) but what is done is done and now I have to use up syns!!

Anyone got any idea how many syns this would be? I'm looking in my book but can't find it so far....

I got to within 1lb of target before my holiday and messed about since not sticking to it after I got back. I went back up to nearly my start weight of 9.5.

Food wise I did really well over Xmas and didn't indulge too much. Drink wise was a different story.

So I joined club properly and got the books and since Wednesday (when I joined) I have been 100%. Since then the scales are showing a loss of 3.5lb so looks like I'm doing ok.

I feel really good about things and in control. So pleased that something feels like its clicked - sounds cliched I know but I'm proud of myself for not going over syns and I'm not going out of my way to use the full 15 if I'm not hungry.

    I don't! Shameful I know!

I bought Kettleworx but couldn't stick to it. My husband goes to the gym and has just started DDP yoga DVDs (it's like superintense yoga invented by an ex-wrestler, plus he does 3 hours wrestling training a week, plus the odd wrestling show) and he is much bigger than me, so I really have no excuses but I just have a complete mental block.

I've tried everything exercise wise and I just hate it all. I can stick to it for a month max then just quit. Gym, yoga, sports, kettle bells, whatever... The best I did was Pole Dancing once a week for about 6 months but it was far too expensive and somewhere I cant get to anymore, and I never made any progressive despite actually putting in a lot of hard work... I don't know what to try next it's really frustrating.

What about walking? That doesn't need to be too difficult and you could just do like 15-20 mins 3 times a week? Could you go after dinner or anything like that?! That's what I'm gonna start with as I haven't exercised properly for a couple of years. I don't like the thought of paying for things weekly so I have a couple of DVDs and just walk/run when I am in exercise mode (not v often!!)

Yeah I could definitely walk more. I do enjoy walking, I just hate going outside in this cold weather as I'm very sensitive to the cold. But I just need to suck it up and wrap up and get on with it We are off to Lapland in 2 weeks (surprise for my husbands 30th) and its between -17 and -49 where we are going !!!

Should be fine weight wise in Lapland as we have quite a few active things to do - husky sledding, reindeer sleighing, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing etc. The food should be pretty safe - mainly reindeer, fish, berries, mushrooms etc - and balanced out by the exercise anyway.
