    Question Chinese - Average Portion

    In my book that I got when I started it says 'beef with mushrooms' - 4.5 syns (average portion)

    what are they classing as average portion though? Half of the meal? I don't want to get this wrong, saying average portion seems like a guestimate to me as every chinsese has different size portions..

    Sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find it anywhere...xx
