Home Made Crumpets
12 fl oz/350ml semi-skimmed milk, warmed but not boiling
1 lb/450g all purpose or plain flour
1/8 oz/5g dried yeast
2 tsp sugar
12 fl oz/350ml finger-warm water (approx)
1 tsp Salt
1tsp baking powder
Vegetable oil for cooking (will use fry light)
These are the ingredients for my other half's crumpets. If we make a batch, and keep each individual crumpet at 60g, can it be classed as an healthy extra, if so does it need to be wholemeal flour?
If its a yes I think he will use his 15 points on butter and honey!:)

Unfortunately it's not as simple as that, as there is more than just the flour that would need Synning. Even if you used WM flour and classed 60g as your B choice you'd still have to Syn the milk, yeast, baking powder and sugar.
Hopefully someone will be able to work out the full Syn value for you.

Thanks for that Princess_Stevie. Well he made them today. Replacing the white flour with wholemeal, whole milk for skimmed milk and used truvia sweetener.
Anyone out there have any more thought on this?

So here they are! Look more like scotch pancakes, but smell and taste lovely. He made 19 in a batch, and have calculated them to be 4.5 syns.
