    Smile cooked tomatoes?

    Does anyone know, and I know this sounds like a stupid question, are cooked tomatoes still ok for you??
    I remember being told that you couldn't cook or blend fruit etc because it does something to the sugars which makes it become lots of syns

    Some people argue that a tomato is a fruit...so is this the case too?!

    I hope to god they are still ok for you because I love them they are super sweet and stop me craving chocolate & sweets

    Stupid dieting...have lost 12lbs now since New Year so quite happy with that...but thats mainly because of all the roller derby training, not because of eating properly

    Depends if you believe it is a fruit or veg... when its juiced its 0.5 syns for 100ml, so i would presume it would be synned cooked too, but i'm not sure as puree is free

    EDIT: homemade tomato soup is free too, so i'm not sure now. I'd say they are classign as veg, which would make it free cooked.

    hehe thanks hun, such a tricky one!
    just sat here with a bowl of cooked toms with my dinner and had a guilty worry that they weren't free because i was enjoying them too much!
    suppose only 0.5 syns is still better than a chocolate bar though! xx
