I'm just wondering if anyone can help me with syns on 'Super Jam'. It's not actually jam (that's just a brand name) but really it's "fruit spread". It has no sugar or gelatine...just smushed up fruit...
per level teaspoon:
Concentrated Grape Juice, Raspberries (34%), Cranberries (10%), Gelling Agent: Fruit Pectin, Lemon Juice
I'm looking for something nice to put in porridge so my mornings are less like the opening scenes in Oliver!
As pureed or smashed up fruit needs to be synned, I'd go with the 1 syn = 20 calories method. That would make 1 level tsp about 1 syn.
That's annoying. I though that as the fruit they put in my syn free mullerlights is just pureed fruit and the fruit i put in my porridge is also pureed fruit that the porridge would also be syn free?
Although a syn or two for delicious porridge is fine. I also don't see why ALL jam is the same... be it sugar free, low sugar or full on sugar packed!?
