Thanks in advance guys and keep up the good work.

I asked about meat free sausages the day before yesterday but nobody has answered - don't hold your breath I have a few for Asda frozen products but they are a year old so don't know if they are in date.
Frozen meatballs and chicken pieces are 3 per bag and there are 3 portions in each one - know that is right as I eat them quite often and they have not changed recipe.

Must admit I saw your question the other day but despite doing a search, I couldn't find any supermarket's 'own' meat free sausage syns previously asked/answered. I therefore didn't respond but with hindsight perhaps should have - sorry.

What I think you should do is list the NV and ask someone who has access to the Syn Calculator or maybe Syns Online to look them up for you.

I also think a 'Meat Free' Syn sticky would be a good idea as all the supermarkets seem to have their own range now, let alone all the main branded ones.

This thread might be helpful - it's got some new(ish) posts but was started back in 2011.
The OP gives a very comprehensive list of Quorn products but some might have changed recipe since so don't take the values as gospel.

I know that sainsburys and standard quorn sausages are 1syn each and the low fat quorn ones are free! Sainsburys no meat-meatballs are 5.5syns for the whole bag (but I found them a bit yucky).

    Are the meatballs from Sainsbury's?

Mince and Steak bits are from where?

I have just got a 50 voucher for Sainsbury's from BT and it is not a shop I usually go in so will have something to stock the freezer with.

Don't eat Quorn as it makes me unsociable.

I have a Tesco near me and saw on the net they have sausages which I have not tried but don't want to eat them and find out they are high syns. I joined SW a few months ago but don't go anymore so don't have access to the syn counter.

Thanks for all the replies guys... Appreciate it and appreciate any others you have...

I've seen the lists on here before but they don't seem up to date... We do need a sticky for this as there are a massive amount of Veggies doing SW...

Sorry if I've misread here, but are all quorn products free?

No not all. Certainly nothing breaded. Off the top of my head is:
    low fat sausages (frozen)
    peppered steaks(chilled)
    lamb style steaks (chilled)
    quorn pieces
    quorn fillets
    quorn mince
stir-fry beef style bits (can't remember exact name)
Some of the ham-style chilled slices (not sure which as don't buy them)
i think I read the meatballs are free too

I bought the Swedish Meatballs for the first time last week & personally think they're flippin lush being syn free is a double bonus.
I'm not particularly fond of the quorn mince, simply due to the texture but these meatballs are nothing like mince, so if you're the same as me, don't be put off trying the meatballs.
