Frozen oven chips in actifry syns

Hi

Does anyone know the syns, generally, for frozen chips?
Also, is there a difference in syns for oven chips/ frying chips both done in actify?

Thanks x

Depending on the brand, oven chips can be up to 5 syns per 100g

The difference would be in the amount of oil you use in the Actifry. If you don't use any (or use Frylight) then there won't be any additional syns over and above the syn value of the chips. If you do, add the amount of syns for the oil.

Even if you used no oil there would have to be some syns, frozen chips are flash fried in oil before freezing, that's why oven chips are up to 5 syns per 100g according to the web site.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear in my posting, and I have edited it now. What I meant was that there wouldn't have been any additional syns if frylight was used, but there would be if oil was used.

Just cut up some actual potato! Nothing quite like fresh potato Actify chips. I've not bought frozen chips in 4 years!! A 2.5 kg bag goes a heck of a lot further too. Personally I use olive oil and syn it but I know plenty of people who use frylight and then they are free
