Is Smash syn free when you've used it to cover chicken? I've seen a few recipes that state it's "free" but then one person said it had to be synned so now am worried. Would someone be able to clarify, please?

The official SW position is that it is only free when used as mashed potato and made up as directed. If you are using it as a substitute for flour, which you would in this case, then the advise synning it at the red day rate of 4.5 syns per 25g dry powdered mash x

Just a tip. You could try using breadcrumbs from your heb of bread (that's if you use bread as your healthy extra b obviously) and put it on your chicken instead. I always do it and it is really nice. Saves you syns too
