Syn Values For Sauces/Powders?

Slim Me Down, Scotty!
I bought a Schwartz Perfect Shake Cajun seasoning that says it was ideal for adding to things like beans or over wedges or even over chicken, which is what I have done for tonight's tea. Chicken breast marinated (no oil) with this powder over it for a few hours with some SW wedges and corn on the cob. Just wondering, what would the syn value of it be. I probably used less than a tablespoons worth of the spice on each breast. Would spices be considered free or are they synned?

This is the actual product and the nutritional value of it. I don't know how to turn that in to what syns it has!

That particular one is free :)

I would be careful as not all of them are. What you could always do, if you use it often, is make your own? Just have a sneaky look at the spices in the ingrediesnts on the packet, buy them and a jar, whap them together et voila! You know its free and you can use it for all sorts :) (Im a massive fan of cajun seasoning)

Phew! Glad to know it's free! Yeah, I love Cajun flavour myself. There used to be a brand of crisps in Ireland that were cajun chicken flavour. They were amazing but are sadly discontinued, probably for the best, I got them a lot!

Yeah, I could make my own some time, it would probably work out cheaper in the long run. I got some of the cajun spices, some oregano and some mixed herbs and I usually end up adding them to most things for extra flavour. The oregano and mixed herbs are going into the SW beef ragu I'm making for tonights tea, and the rest is being put into old plastic takeaway boxes and going in the freezer for later in the week and over the weekend!
