freeze dried

I do hope that someone out there can help me. are freeze dried fruit and vegetables free or do I need to syn them? I have freeze dried red pepper, diced apple and dried onion. my logic tells me that as long as nothing is added then they should be free but then part of me tells me that I should be giving them a syn value, as with stewed fruit.

I agree with your instincts - the apple would be the only suss one - but only be if it'd been cooked before freezing, otherwise it'd be alright.

im hoping not, my freezer is full off frozen veg :s

thanks minimunchkins, i was wondering about the apple myself, just hoping my instincts were wrong. i'll give the apple a wide berth.
