mmm guilt free takeaway(?!)
I have just eaten for my tea a takeaway and think I stayed within limits.
I had a mushroom and green pepper jalfrezi (7.5) and boiled rice.
I only had 1 syn all day- tomato ketchup with breakfast.
Is this really on plan?! It feels so wrong yet so right!!!
The only thing is to watch the weight of the takeaway as the syns are usually for a certain weight but yeah it's possible to have takeaways on plan x
Thanks Emsie I wondered about that too, but in my syns book it just says average portion, which I think is what I had! Im an average eater and i feel satisfied but not stuffed.
I just find it amazing that i dont technically have to feel bad about it.
I wouldn't have a takeaway regularly as i dont think its a healthy lifestyle, even if you make sensible choices, because at the end of the day its still takeaway. But its nice to know i can have a treat now n again.
There's lots of cooking on sw which is fine most of the time but everyone likes a night off!

Hi Rosie - i had a chinese chicken in black bean sauce (5 syns) with boiled rice at the weekend - first takeaway in ten weeks. I also had the syns to spare but was feeling so guilty!WI on Monday and had 5.5lbs of so the guilt magically disappeared!
Always best to check the website as it is constantly being updated, whereas the book is not.

Not currently attending a group or even weighing at home - focusing on just sticking to plan rather than getting obsessed with the numbers!
