Smile Getting confused by syn values at M&S

To be fair, I am easily confused!

I have seen a variety of values listed for the M&S Count on Us Chargrilled Chicken and Asparagus Risotto - has anyone the definitive value perhaps please?

Also, I have seen some list their Fuller For Longer range as less syns - though they are generally more calories. If they're less syns I shall have them as I find them tastier but thought they would be too much.

Am a little confused - can anyone help at all please?

    Thanks!

Are you a Sw member? If so you can look them up online or use the syn calculator to work out the syns on anything that's not listed

Count on Us Chargrilled Chicken & Asparagus Risotto, chilled , 385g pack 7 9 7

I was but not any more so don't have that facility - I can never get back from work in time.

    Sorry - what does 7 91/2 7 mean please?

Any ideas on the Fuller For Longer bit at all?

    Thanks so much!

The three figures are the syns for EE, Red , Green

There are a lot of feel fuller products so you'll need to say which is particular you are interested in

Ah - gotcha thanks! I am doing the EE.

Tricky as I like most of them but guess it would be the Thai Curries, Paella and Risotto

    Thanks again

I've just had the fuller for longer prawn, salmon salad thing - was very nice. BUT I dont understand how it can be 7.5 syns on EE and the same on original (red) as it has chick peas, lentils and peas in it?!!! Surely its got to be more on original (or hopefully less on EE!)

Looking at the list above it seems theres a few with the same values for ee and red even though the meal had carbs in it

It's because EE takes the lowest value from either red or green and runs with that - so the syn value would be 7.5 for red - obviously synning the chick peas etc but green would be higher due to the salmon, prawns etc, so EE is just the lesser of two evils, does that make a bit more sense?

Yes that explanation does make sense but it still means the EE syn values arent correct but I expect they cant work out everything. If I could be bothered I suppose I could syn each individual food item to get a true result. I only had it because we popped to the shops while I was at work - never eat ready meals usually. It was very nice though
