Home Made Cheese Sauce??

Hello Everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone could give me an idea on syn value of a sauce my friend gave me the recipe for.

I can work out syns for most of it but this is where i'm stuck.

For the base of the sauce she boils the rind of parmasan with chicken stock? does anyone know if this would contain syns??

The rest of the ingredients is syn free apart from corn flour so i'm ok with that part.. just not too sure about the rind of parmasan, because once it's boiled she removes the rind. So it's just the flavour of it?

Any ideas??

Can't see anything on it on the net, but it does say that a small bit of it is strong in flavour so maybe syn it as normal Parmesan and use less?
 
Do you know the syn value for parmasan per 25g? I can't work it out from the book it says dried grated?

I think it's 5 Syns for 25g
