    Chinese help

    Hi guys does anybody know the syn value of chicken chow mein from Chinese take out x
    week 1: -5.4lbs.
    week 2-3: -4.6lbs (total 10lbs)
    week 4: -4lbs (total 14lbs)
    week 5: +0.8lbs
    week 6-7: -5.4lbs (total 18.6lbs)

    Statistics:
    Weight to Lose: 0st6.5lb
    The syns for this have changed recently. An average portion of 380g is working out at 16.5 syns EE and Green and 18 Syns for Red

    I guess it depends on the containers they use. I order a syn free chow mein from my local takeaway, I'm vegetarian and follow the green plan. So instead of using oil they use extra soy sauce so it's syn free :-) love chow mein

    Same here. Ask for it dry fried. Also check how they cook the chicken - mine stir fry it so the syns are definitely not what SW quote. I still allow 7 for mine although it's probably lower.
