A few soups are classed as healthy extras, but for most I think you use the 1 syn per 20 calories rule, so that would be two and a half syns.

Edit - I didn't read the original post properly, so please ignore this!!!! Sorry.

Just to add if the 51cals is per 100g it would be 125cals for the whole 250g pack so 6.5syns? My maths isn't great though! X

I know that sometimes if anyone is a member of the slimming world website it can come up as different syns for a meal as there is free food in it like pasta and chicken that's why I wanted somone to find out what the syns is as a meal rather than counting the calories as a snack thanks

For example microwave meals have different syns on different days and if it's a meat dish it may be 2 syns for the whole meal and it could be 400 cals if you catch what I mean

Ah yes I know what you mean. I don't have access to the mystical syns calculator so if in doubt I use 20cal=1syn but it's frustrating if you know there's a free food allowance.
I suppose it depends on how rigidly you stick to plan/syns- if it were me and I felt like there was lots of free/superfree I'd be inclined to maybe allow a couple of syns for any oil or fat used in the cooking process and leave it at that. But i know some people like to stick to the letter and know exactly what syns they have had... Maybe my losses would be better if I too was one of these people haha! x

I ran it through the syns calculator, using chicken as the free food and it came up as 3 syns for the 250g. First time I've used it though so I hope I did it right! :) I might check that out myself, 3 isn't bad. Is it Costco's own brand, Kirkland? Tinned or dried?

I have edited my reply above because it made no sense as I didn't read the original question properly. So sorry about that.
