Measurements for condiments and stuff!

Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong place for this, I'm still finding my way around!

You know when the book gives you a syn value for mayo or something, and they say it's per level tsp, is that a measuring tablespoon, or do you have to get a normal spoon and scrape it down?

I've just measured a 'measuring tablespoon' amount of mayo out for lunch and it seems like loads!

Thanks :D

Oh my lord, I'm in a parallel universe - one (15ml) tablespoon of mayo is a TINY amount for me!!!

I suppose this is how I got to be this stoopid size in the first place :)

Haha swansong1a! I was using it for a burger so it was plenty! Using it as a dip or sandwich is a different story! But at 0.5 syns for the above amount, I think I'll be able to stretch it out now :D

Oh ok, I'll let you off then! I thought you were trying to use it for a big heap of salad or something, lol :)

You can get some brilliant little measuring spoons - I've got a cheap set by Cooks & Co that cost about £2 - no problems at all measuring absolutely exactly then...
