OK. I searched again, there's nothing on the website with the word "casero" in it.

I have eventually got round to looking up syns online.
Chorizo is one to watch!
The standard foods says chorizo 10.5 per 100g, which is not bad at all.
But.....
Put in the nutritional info from the packet, and the whole thing changes!
The whole chorizo (225g), is 50.5 syns!!
That makes my 40g portion from last night 9 syns!
So this particular chorizo, per 100g = 22.5 syns

I've been struggling to find the Syns for the Tesco Finest Chorizo, and could only find the generic value on the App.... 
Looks like I will have to put the NV's into the calculator and cry at the result! I love Chorizo!
I bet it's similar to Asda's Extra Special version..

I wonder what the difference between "extra special" and "taste the difference" type chorizos are compared to bog standard chorizo...I'm willing to bet it's something fancy-pants about the paprika.
I'm going to keep on using the standard stuff and the SW online 10.5 syns/100g.

Actually, it's an interesting point - if the syn value is given for a generic food then surely that applies across the board?

I think the generic syn values are only to be used if there is no available syn value for a particular brand.
