Ive had a few messages and texts asking where everything has disappeared to.

So I'm copying Pierces message from earlier this week which explains everything.(Hope thats OK Pierce)

ANything posted in this temp forum tonight will not be saved or transferred to the new forum. Everything else will be there waiting for us as soon as its open.





Hi Everybody,

We would like to announce some of the changes to the WLS section that we are planning for the end of this week.

It's been an interesting few weeks with everything that has happened in WLS and the flood feedback and support that we received from members.

We have come to the conclusion that the WLS section on MiniMins is not flexible enough for the needs of its members. The front page of MiniMins is too long to scroll all the way down in order to find the WLS section and it impedes people from discovering other sections of WLS that will be introduced in the future.

We have decided to do is to launch a brand new site focusing exclusively in WLS. This would give us the ability to change the site around WLS rather than trying to change WLS around MiniMins.

The new domain would give you quick & direct access to WLS only content, provide more individualized forums and clean up the "New Posts" button for both WLS and MiniMins.

The site will be called WLSurgery.com and will be hosted on its own dedicated server separate from MiniMins. This would help the logistical issues we have to deal with from time to time with the amount of traffic we get.

So what do you have to do? Nothing at all. We will be moving all the posts over, accounts and galleries. All existing members of MiniMins will now be members of this new site.

The existing moderation team for WLS will be transfered onto the new site. You can still use your existing membership on MiniMins, but WLS topics should be posted on WLSurgery.com

This will hopefully be happening on Friday 6th of November, so long as everything else goes to plan.

We believe this is the best way forward for us to cater more for our WLS members.
