Diet: Cambridge
I usually drink 4 litres a day although I always lie in bed at night and have to go to the loo 3 times before I can sleep as I don't usually finish them until late!! I swear the only reason I managed to lose 3lbs this week was because although I cheated and went for a meal on Tuesday, I drank 6 litres the next day to compensate. Having said that, I'm lucky as I have always drunk water at work instead of tea or coffee.

Hiya,

I do believe water is the key too, I done 1 week of ss when I first started ages ago & drank 3 litres a day then another week I drank 5-6 litres of water and lost an extra 2-3 lb that week..

I am quite knew to this forum. Luckily I have already found these interesting posts here as I really need some advise to lose some weight. So you said that I should drink lots of water. But how much is normal? And am I also supposed to drink tea or coffee instead of water, because I would really prefer that. Actually that should be okay as long as I don't add any sugar with it, right?

i try to drink atleast 1 litre of water before half past 10 ... sorta kick starts me into the day, then i gradually drink another litre or two throughout the day

I used to drink about 3lts of water a day, but I've slipped now... it's so hard to turn down a brew or a coke. I'm aiming for 3lts a day along side my morning and evening tea. Can't live without tea.

Diet: Low Calorie / Fat
Sugar free diluting orange

I have a water cooler next to my desk at work and generally only drink a few cups per day with some no added sugar diluting orange.

Is it ok to dilute the water with no added sugar orange, if this is ok i'll take a 2 litre bottle into work and could easily polish off 4 litres in a day (boss will probably moan as never away from toilet!)?

Thanks for the advice

Seriously...You guys must be on the loo all the time, I always prided myself that I could drink quite a lot during the course of a day (about 3 litres), but looking at how much you lot drink. It's insane.
espesially concidering the average human stomach has a maximum capacity of 5 litres at any one time. I have to say that volvic touch of fruit has been a saviour to me, because it's only 14 calories a litre, and after moving to uni I find it really hard to drink tap water. The Bath water tastes rank. (Bath as in city, not tub.)
