    Welcome, Jo.

Some members have Jedi Master Yoda's fab quote in their signature: 'Do or no do. There is no try.' So it's fab that you are doing. All you have to do is do each shake, each day, day by day. Drink your water and the amgic will happen!

I'm 2 stone down since 15 Dec. Next weigh in tomorrow.

This vlcd thing is definitely abt mind over matter as you are unlikely to feel hungry after a few days and it's habit that makes us snack, pick while cooking etc. It's mind to stay on the sparkling water and not have the gin and tonic/huge glass of red wine, dout or whatever your vice is! ramp up that desire for the new you, with new clothes and a comfortable body.

I just realised that I could probably play tennis this summer. I havent played tennis for 30 years....and I have this desire. Or maybe as, locally, I can also play croquet and also do bows and arrows (No idea what that;s called as a sport!) , I'll try those out. I wanted to try croquet last year but it had a white dress code and I didn't have the clothes. We used to play rough croquet as kids. Very bumpy courses often with more hoops than officially allowed - and I loved it. Though whether I'd love playing it with people who are so rule bound you have to where the proper clothes, I dont know.

What's amazing is that I have the knowledge that I will be thin enough and fit enough to play any type of sport in the summer. How cool is that?!

    Enjoy the journey Jo Heart

I agree with the comment about people who gain it back didn't really commit to all the steps. At least that has been true for me. Seems like I don't appreciate when I'm smaller and get to thinking I can just eat anything. Not the case. I will commit to ALL the steps this time.
