Help with a choosing a VLCD......

    Hi GUys
Just wondering which you would all recommend...

Cambridge weight plan / Slim & Save / Exante

I think they are all very similar with putting you into ketosis etc. Hae tried CWP and S&S and they seem ok but didnt know what to try this time...

    Thanks xxx

I'm just over three weeks into Cambridge, and have lost 23lbs. I'm loving it, no hunger pangs and not hungry. What ever diet you choose make sure you drink plenty of water. That really is the key!!

Yeah I agree, I've done Cwp before n it worked but never kept it off and not the price has increased I'm thinking if the other two diets are
The same as Cwp but different make.... Maybe I'll try one of them! Do need the weekly weigh in though, might have to rope the bf into being my counsellor haha

Diet: Lighter Life / Slim and Save / Dukan Consolidation
    Height: 5ft6in

    BMI Information:

    Goal BMI: 23.7

    Statistics:
    Total Weight Loss: 7st13lb
    Weight to Lose: 0st12lb
    % Lost 41.11%
From my point of view the main differences are:

Medical treatments for skin etc included : Alizonne - expensive but includes a lot of support

Counselling included : LighterLife - quite expensive, weigh in each week, group counselling

Weigh in included : Cambridge - cheaper than LL but no counselling

Pharmacy : Lipotrim - not sure about costs

Online : Slim and Save / Exante - cheapest option - no official weigh in

There are probably others which I have missed.
Reached goal of 130 lbs to lose.

On maintenance I'm a little higher than I would like to be...

I've not tried any of the others but I'm on day 3 with Exante. So far I'm liking all the bars and shakes!

Hello, I've been doing exante and lost over 2 stone in a couple of months, im at my goal weight but I enjoyed the products so much that I'm going to carry on a bit longer so I have a few pounds to 'play' with. Then I wil always keep exante products handy incase I put on more than a few pounds. I did find it very easy and never felt hungry, also I felt full of energy after the first few days. The quick results you get are very motivating! Good luck with whatever diet you choose.

If you decide to follow an online diet and miss the support of classes, the forums on here are brilliant for support and answering questions. You can also start a diary which helps to keep you on track.
Good luck with whichever way you choose!

Well to put it honestly, I got GIVEN all about weight by a mate... and she warned me off the porridge insisting it takes like "glue". The soups however are indeed lovely.

I did the all about W8 VLCD last year and lost 2 stone but have joined Slim & Save this time as most of the mealpacks are the exact same but S&S is much cheaper.

W8's porridge is S&S's Sweet Porridge, the macaroni, spag Bol, chilli, curry and soups are all the same it's only the milkshakes that are different between the 2.

W8's milkshake taste a little powdery like a milkshake you would make at home, S&S's are thicker and have a more yoghurt like texture, but they are both nice in their own way.

But cost wise you'd be better with Slim & Save as with W8 all the mealpacks are the same price no matter how many you buy but with S&S the more you buy the cheaper they get.

It's weird, I loved their porridge, did two months on just that, but the soups, Bleughhhh... I guess that's why it is good there is some choice, one pack style could never suit all. It's really interesting hearing about others like and dislikes.
