SML Diet

I believe it's Slim and Maintain for Life. They're a very good company, I highly recommend their packs are tasty. It's the same packs (or some of) as Slim and Save and think both of them are much better than Exante or Cambridge in terms of flavour, would recommend either of them. I'll be restarting with them in the 2nd.

im starting SML on Monday when I go back to work, haven't decided if I will tell people yet, How are you getting on with it? I have done the CWP in the past and met you on there, I saw a diary of yours last week about you getting married but can't find it now, that's great news and you are now a qualified teacher well done, time flies and still we struggle with our weight. I really don't want to have to do another VCLD again after this. I will be weighing on Monday and updating my stats. Can't wait to try the flavours of the hot meals, hope it's going well with you

Hi Sue, how are you feeling about starting SML? I'm not sure whether I'm telling people either. I've told my sister and my teaching assistant at school, she's done/doing slim fast so I've just said it's similar. My OH has told everyone at work and they're all really interested, not sure I'm that brave!

This is only day 3 for me but so far so good. No real side effects other than slightly headache but that's fixed with water. Not really that hungry either, just had the odd pang that soon went away. Days 3 and 4 are usually the hardest for me so might not be so positive later on!

Yep all qualified and getting married in August, eek! Isn't really that far away now. I was dead against doing another VLCD but the weight just want coming off quick enough any other way, which was my fault as I just kept faffing. The OH wanted to do a VLCD again and I said if I hadn't lost a stone on SW in 2 months I'd do it. As you can tell, that didn't happen lol

Do you like shakes and soups too? I do all of them except for soups, hate soups on every vlcd I've ever tried.

I am looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time, I'm sick of eating rubbish really as nothing I eat at the moment I enjoy anyway. I always feel better in myself on any diet so that should tell me the rubbish I eat doesn't do my body any good. I know once the reality kicks in that will change lol, I usually crave apples and healthy foods when I do VCLD so why can't I eat them foods normally. You have a great goal to motivate you and with both of you doing it you can encourage each other and know how each other feels.
I don't like the soups but have only tried the Cambridge ones, I have tried LL hot meals I used to swap some of the porridge of cambridge for her LL hot ones, she used to like porridge so I used to buy them to swap but I don't like porridge either, I used to have shakes and bars with Cambridge, so looking forward to having a couple of hot ones a day especially in this weather. Have you got any favs?
I have clothes in al sizes and plenty of smaller ones thats either never or hardly been worn so don't need to buy any when I loose. I like the fact that every month you notice a difference when trying on clothes :)
 
Yep I'm exactly the same, I crave fruit! Hmm favourites... the choc mint is gorgeous, toffee shake too. I've not had many bars yet so don't know about them. Pasta carbonara is lovely too.
 
I ordered a lot of bars it doesn't say you have to wait 2 weeks to have them like on the cambridge, they are small didn't click they werent a meal replacement so will have to re order after 3 weeks not 4, I like toffee anything lol, I ordered cottage pie, chilli and carbonara ones so fingers crossed I will like them, it's funny that what one person loves another will hate, ordered more meals than shakes as its more of a novelty having them. Just got to get back into habit of drinking water, haven't cut down on carbs prior to starting I never do as I make the most of the last few days lol
 
Well you can have 1 a day if you take a vitamin, I checked on that one.
 
Yep, it is a replacement but hasn't got quite enough vitamins unless you have two or a multivitamin. The other companies are apparently the same but don't seem to tell people that.
 
Think our taste buds take a little while to adjust to packs. Leave the chilli to soak for a bit, that should help with the kidney beans.
 
I LOVE that one! It's my favourite. Probably going to order for 1 for every day with the next order.

Doing OK, day 6 today and getting OK well with it. Looking forward to weighing in. How are you doing?
 
me to better than the coconut/banana ones by a long way, my mouth tastes like it does when I go into ketosis but I always feel weak around day 5/6, weigh day is the best part the anticipation the night before is what keeps you going lol, I was saying to a friend tonight I need to channel my energies and time into other things, I miss the eating but am not hungry, its defo all in the mind, I've been there lost it and put it back on too many times to count and everytime I say this is going to be the last especially when I do a VCLD I always say this is the last time. I love once the first week is over how well you feel. I so wanted a green granny smith apple that my colleague was eating today lol
 
Fruit is the most tempting isn't it?! The kids at school had raisins today and I wanted them lol I'm doing ok thanks Sue, how about you? Very excited for WI! Hoping for a good one.
