Hi, wondering if i can get some help please?

Ive done every diet under the sun and really struggle :( I did Cambridge years ago with some success but failed once it got to Xmas and couldnt get back on it. Ive a lot of weight to lose and would like to go on a VLCD to give me a boost and then go on to doing a VLCD and incorporate a meal into it too.

I can spend roughly £30 a week on my food, so i am wondering if someone can give me a list of the companies doing VLCD in my price range?

Also can i ask what people do about the constipation which is what i remember being the worse symptom i had.

Thanks x

Hi there,

I have experience in Lipotrim & Slim & Save. Lipotrim varies in price all over the country so to get an accurate price you would need to find your nearest stockist and ask them, or see if your doctor could get it for you and how much. Slim & Save range in price depending how much you buy at a time. If you buy a months worth then it's cheaper then 1 week at a time. It starts at approx £38 for 1 week but you can get that reduced if you buy 4 weeks, so if you can out the money up front it may be within your budget range.

Both are VLCDs and members have success on both. The pluses are Lipotrim is 3 shakes a day so very easy to make up and you just stick to the shakes and you are done for the day. Slim & Save has more choice and you can have warm meals but if you choose their lifestyle plan then the temptation to add extras or not measure your foods is there for some folk so you may find your weight loss is not as good if you aren't strict about what you are adding to your meals. It depends on what suits you are to what approach you pick.

Also worth noting is Lipotrim is based on a lower carb & calorie amount than S&S so if you are one of the unlucky ones who gets kicked out of ketosis at a low level of carbs you may have to do some counting and adjusting to stay within your daily allowance. I try and keep my carbs below 50gs as I had issues when I first switched from LT to S&S and another member helped me fix the problem by telling me to reduce my carbs so now I plan my day with a porridge, 2 shakes and a meal pack or a shake and a low carb meal of my making. This is not something that affects many of us btw so you might find you could eat your 4 meal packs and have no issues what so ever but I thought it worth mentioning just incase.

Any questions please feel free to ask and someone will no doubt be able to help :)

I would deffo reccomment Slim&Save. It has worked wonders so far for me. As you say you have done other vlcd's before so you should be able to manage well. I love it because i have the option to have conventional food if i like and that makes it easier for me to manage and you dont have to do very much exercise as your consuming very little calories per day. The first week is a tad difficult as your body is getting used to the diet but once your in ketosis its quite easy. I would say try there taster pack for £27.99 thats a weeks supply and you will recieve most of there items so you can taste what products they have to offer. It makes it easier on choosing what meal packs you want on your next order too. xoxo

For me I do CWP as it's what I know and am familiar with, but Slim and Save does look to be a very good alternative - cheaper, good support, and a varied choice. Good luck.

Hi the vlcd diet im currently on is working wonders for me and the shakes bundle im now buying on a weekly basis works out at 89p a shake. They taste great and the results are brilliant, will hopefully hit 15-16lbs lost by the end of this week x
