Water intake

Hi, i'm on exante, and have always struggled with the water intake. i usually struggle to get to 2.5 ltrs  bad i know, as you are supposed to have more like 3ltrs i think. and to be honest, mostly its more like 2 ltrs :D

Im on the Slim and save plan and they recommend we intake inbetween 2-3 litres per day as I asked the same question to them over the phone. There customer service is fantastic! xoxo

I'm on exante, I've been at around 4l a day for the 4 days i've been on it - not sure if i'm bordering on too much or not!

I'm on my 3rd day of Cambridge and been drinking 4l a day, need to pee constantly!!

Thanks. I was drinking about 6l and was told it was waaaay too much so am trying to keep it to 4 which is hard. I don't drink tea or coffee and used to drink stacks of water before!

From what i read on all VLCD's, you should have between 2 - 4 ltrs of water, no more as it is dangerous for your body. and also space it out through the day. also, if you don't like tea and coffee, what about mugs of bouillon? this is nice, as it's hot, and very tasty. also you can have ribena plus sugar free squash, which is also nice hot. I wish i was more like u all, as i have trouble drinking 2.5ltrs :D

I always think I am drinking lots, however when I measured it once it was only about 2 litres. Since then I have managed to boost up my intake to 3 litres, but a large chunk of that is coffee. :)

I'm on day 6 of now - I found the water consumption really hard on the first day, I am NOT a water drinker! But I found myself being so thirsty that I was drinking constantly at my desk at work. I had bought a one litre bottle of water which is now my best friend, I take it to work with me, home with me, to bed with me ha! I think I've been averaging at 4 litres of plain water a day plus a cup of green tea and one or two cups of coffee. Needless to say I am constantly peeing.

I have been managing with the water just been trying to space it out during the day its harder for me when im in work on 8-8 though as only have drinks on breaks
ive been feeling cold so had cups of bouillon too.

When I'm on a VLCD (S&S) I tried so hard to get the water down but wasn't always successful. At the most I would drink 2L a day roughly. Some people say 'the more you drink the more you shrink' but I never noticed any difference in my losses if I did or didn't drink all my water.

I'm sure I read on the S&S website that you should drink no more than 3.5L a day
ETA: just found it on their site
Do not exceed 3.5 Litres of water per day, this can be dangerous on a VLCD
.

I always drink loads on VLCD just to fill me up so im not tempted to snack on foods. Have you found a happy medium for it yet?

I drink about 2.5L per day. I try to drink it all by 6pm so I don't have to keep getting up all night haha.

Re started today. I'm going to aim for 3L a day :)

I'm going to try and average 3-4 litres a day. I normally drink 2 litres a day anyway so I hope the increase won't be too much.

Hi I really struggle with the water and it's usually what pulls me off a VLCD. KeeDiet say to drink a minimum of 2.25L a day, sips throughout the day, but around 3 is preferred. I think also if you are naturally thirsty you can drink more but it should be excessive and shouldn't be large amounts over a short time.

I have to set myself rules, like 750ml before breakfast, 750ml before lunch. Then I do 750ml before dinner is allowed. That's my minimum covered and I refill and keep it with me for the evening and in bed. My bonus bottle :)

I find if I don't drink the water I get really head foggy and cave to food, so really concentrate on my rule or maybe I'm just a control freak :)

xx

I'm on exante and try to have at least 2 litres of clear water and then also have about 3 or 4 coffee's or tea. I feel good on that.

I drink 3L of pure water plus a few coffees and the occasional coke zero. I did find in the past that over time I got thirstier and had to drink more and more - I would get an awful headache if I drank too much though.
