Diet: Lighter Life
Hi Coley

I am now at about 11st 6lbs (according to this mornings weigh in), I want to try to get to 10st 7lbs by bonfire night but am increasingly struggling to get there.

I started a year ago on vitaline diet at a top weight of 15st 10lbs. I lost about a stone and a half but couldn't maintain the diet due to my lifestyle.

I started LL on June 26th this year at 15 st 1lb. I have consistent losses but have struggled all the way through to stay abstinent.

I don't want to go any lower than 10 1/2 stone, my original goal was to be a size 14 which I now am but want to give myself that leway of being a bit lower than my personal ideal in case I put a bit on.

I am here to support you all the way - maybe we can get through this last stone together?

Hi All, I'd love to join you, I too am on the last stone, but due to health issues need to swap to SW. My BMI is 27 but I carry a lot of muscle, left over from being a fitness freak. Currently I am a size 14 bottoms and an 18 top. Yes, I have finally discovered that I am still going to have boobs even at the end of this.
I have found this last stone hard going, been here twice before, this time I want this soooo much. I'm 40 on the 15th November, so wanted to be there by then, obviously it may take a bit longer, but I will get there. Just wait till christmas, I WILL WEAR MY BLUE DRESS TO THE BALL!! (Promise to self).

100 lbs gone now in just 7.5 months - just 15 lbs left to go to get to target (which I might reduce by a further 7 lbs once I get there .... are we never satisfied? )

Cheb - if I counted how many times I've taken 'diet breaks' (a night, a weekend or even a whole week while I was on holiday) since I started CD and got back into it afterwards I'd run out of fingers and toes *lol*. The important thing is getting back onto the wagon straight away to minimise any damage.

Coley - well done on sorting out your Ticker .. and I luurve mushrooms too!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Day - 3??4?? -18.45pm

hey guys and hey Jackie!! How are we all doing?....it's the weekend!!

Loads of people find this their temptation time. I'm not so bad because I work but.... today....my parents are out and I'm home alone, there is nothing in the cupboards I would consider eating (parents have been atkins for about 6 years now....so only meat) and I REALLY want something yummy to eat!! by yummy I mean not the nice salad, veggies and meat....I mean carbs.....all the carbs in the WORLD are calling to me! Am even considering walking to the shop which is open for another 15 mins to get one of those little dolmio packs of pasta to avoid the washing up and have some pesto. how warped is that? all because there is no one in? I live myself and I'm not tempted like this!!

whats wrong with me?? total subconscious sabotage!!!

Sharon!! 15lbs. race you?? My weekly weigh in with me is on a Tuesday. it's funny when you're a CDC having a weigh in with yourself. Muuuuuuussshhhhhrrrrrrrooooooooooms. hahaha. badger badger badger, snake!!! oh it's a snake!!! badger badger badger......have you seen that site? hillarious. maybe I'm just easily amused? I am a ticker genuis aren't I? hee hee.

jackie r - re the boobs.....yup. mine never went down as such. I used to be a 38-40E, now I am a 34F, my back has gone down which resulted in my boobs going up?? hahaha. funny and quite nice in a way....but darn annoying to try and find a nice fitted top and I now look like some sort of weird porno girl unless I have tops up to my neck!!! pretty blue dress....you will get into it....may even have to have it taken in??

lashly - how you doing hun?? CDC training is ace....watch out for the pesky sweeties they put on your table and the dreaded squash with citric acid...i was convinced it was some kind of test.....they put out cake!!!! chocolate cake at that!!in the buffet for lunch!! how sadistic is that??

Flopster - how you enjoying the weekend? less stressful?? 14 little lbs to go....nae bother....lol. thats scottish for no problem btw.

Jubbly - I fecken hate youuu!!! how dare you be BMI 23!! I want to be BMI 23!!!!! I think I may have a strop now.seriously, you've done so well....time for the excercise to start up again. You'll get back into it again and love it no doubt.

mandyB2 - how you getting on? surviving!!? you'll be back in the 11's v.soon. I can feel it in my bones. Just squash that chatterbox. silly thing.

anyway....going to make tea before the chatterbox convinces me to walk out the door to the shop!!

You'd better not have gone out of that door matey!!!

A 15 lb race?! You're on! Ready ... steady ... and we're off! (If that doesn't keep you away from the blimmin' carbs, I don't know what will! *lol*). My weigh-in day is Friday and, yeah, it is a bit weird to be weighing yourself I guess - but I've been doing that daily since I started CD anyway

And, yes, I have seen that site .. and couldn't stop singing the blessed tune for DAYS afterwards. Now you've got me thinking about it again ... aaaaaaarrrrrrrgggghhh!!!

Hey all,
Had a positive if trying day today, got into a size 12 today!!!! ok it was a jersey dress thingy so was stretchy but am pretty chuffed anyway! Mother n law was tempting me with scones all afternoon, means well but god its been months and she still doesn't give up! Have hurt my calf with over-vigorous rebounding so have to take it easy for a couple of days.

Thanks for the warning about CDC training Nicole! I would feel soooooo self concious about tucking into anything on the training!!! Choccie cake ! EEkk!! Am going on the 25th so not long now.

Hope you're all going strong.
love

Hi Coley!! I'm sure the BMI thing is a load of old toss really cos I am supposedly of 'OK' BMI now but then read about all you lot who are easily fitting into 12s and even 10s and your BMIs are higher whereas my old 14 trousers are baggy on the bum/legs but still only a little bit big round my waist (although clothes sizes don't seem to make much sense to me either). Come to the conclusion it's all to do with how people 'carry' their weight. And as for exercise, the last time I did it was at school when I used to write notes 'from my mum' excusing me anyway (and to think I was skinny then but lived on sausage rolls, cakes, mars bars and diet coke!!). I hated school sports.

I did OK this weekend and didn't mess around with the diet too much. Went for pub lunch yesterday but couldn't afford it (got to counter and card wouldn't work!!) so had a small plate and all my mates donated bits of meat to me as seem to have turned diet into Atkins/Cambridge hybrid. Felt like some kind of pet, getting everyone's scraps!!

Hey guys!!! have been sssssoooooooooper busy so haven't been on in a bit. Have just got to sit down now!

Hey Deb24!! come join in!! that last stone is a right little bugger isn't it? sooooo annoying!!! we can do it though!! yey!

Lashly - hey you!!! darn cake at your training too??? pesky people. Training is pretty cool isn't it? A bit boring going through the steps again since we know all that stuff inside out but the business bits and the extra theory is great. eek to mother-in-law and calf!! no good I tell you!! well done for getting that chatterbox to shut up!

Jubby - I know what you mean about carrying it different places....I hold mine in my stomach...I wish I could direct that fat to my non-exsistant hips!! darn it!! still have to love seeing BMI so low even if you don't feel comfy in the itty bittie sizes! I find the scales strangely more motivating than my clothes. Keep thinking my clothes are just stretching but the scales can't lie to me!!!

Summerskye - avoided the shop. close call though. wasn't good!! you love the badger song.....you still singing?? weigh in tomorrow with me.....shall update then....then have to figure out how to work darned ticker!!

In other news, I have a giant leak coming from the flat above and they are nutters. Scary, screaming, fighting nutters. I'm scared!! Off to go and see my bf.....yey!! I only get to see him once a week just now with silly new job in Glasgow so off for a nice night!! yey!!

Diet: Together we lost 8 stone on CD.
Hello Nicole at al,

I'd like to join you please! This morning I weigh 11 stone 11lb I am 5ft 9in and medium build. According to Tesco ediets my ideal weight is 10 stone 10lb (22 BMI) so I have just over a stone to lose I rounded down my target to 10/7 but I'll see how it goes as it is about 12 years since I was in the 10 stone range and I have had three children since then and I am carrying the weight slightly differently. Now much larger on top!

I am pleased with how I look now being tall I get away with a little stored fat. It is still strange though to think of myself as slim I keep checking with my husband whether I look ridiculous in slim fit jeans. I have three new pairs of jeans one from M&S 12 L, 2 from next a 12L and 14L. So I guess I am a 12 -14 bottoms and a 16 top.

I didn't join you last week because I had a waiver for 5 days and was eating junk in the evenings. I have been so strong I was really shocked to realise that I still have the impulse to do that when feeling a little low. I have therefore learnt to be more prepared for that. I got back on track over the weekend and have a trace ketosis today and the weight in going down.

Eleven is my fav. number so 11/11 on the scales this morning was a delight! I need to incorporate exercise into my day now and have gone as far as checking out the gym membership at our local leisure centre. I am waiting for blood tests results re pains in my arms so I think I will swim a couple of days a week before joining up fully.

Looking forward to us all getting to goal together over the next few weeks.

GOOD LUCK ALL!

Dizzy x

Morning all!! Hey Dizzy-n-Mizzy!

Larger on top not always so bad hey? woo hoo for slim fit jeans!! I have to get the petite ones (for people 5ft 3" and under. I'm actually 5ft 5 1/2 but I must have short legs and a long body) and I just bought some as well. Felt like I was a bit Olivia Newton John!!

I know what you mean about the whole eating stuff when you are low. I realise what it is but it doesn't stop me wanting to eat! Good work with getting back on track though!

You had anything back about pains in your arms? I seem to have some weird lump in my left underarm. Will give it till tomorrow to go away or I'm off to the docs.

Here we go Dizzy!!

Right....in other news....have a laverly night with other half. Went to Asda bought silly stuff, couldn't get the car bonnet open, the pull catch thing wasn't working so called the RAC who managed to get it open and then after all this lark I fell asleep whilst trying to find something on telly to watch and snuggle up with. Ah well! So I got carted off to bed and the rest is history! Woke up this morning.....flippin tired! waiting for a delivery.....reminds me must get dressed!! eek! today, the plan is to write a presentation for next week, have a few flat viewings and a few clients tonight. 2 lbs down today!! not my happy 3 but who cares! I'm in the 10's!! woooooooooo!! food time! sooooo tonight. there is cottage cheese and mushrooms!! oh yeeeeeeeeah!! so looking forward to it. 13lbs to go.

Right..... must be off to get dressed and have first tetra of the day and do some work like normal people!!

Hope everyone is doing great!!
