    Need to loose 2 stone in six months.. HELP advice needed

    Hi Guys, i weigh around 11.5 st at the min and in a size 12 realistically, however i want to get to 9 stone in 6 months.. is this possible?
    Im getting married you see....

    Do you have any tips other than healthy diet and excercise to give me a quick start.. i have done slimming world and the cambridge diet and found them a little boring and the cambridge diet is a little pricey- i know there is no miracle diet but any help to shift the 1st stone in 4-6 weeks would really motivate me...

    Thanks You xxxxx

    Absolutely possible, it works out about a pound and a quarter a week which can be achieved easily on almost any diet you choose. Maybe aiming to lose the weight at nearer 2 lbs a week and giving yourself a bit of leeway at the end would be best, I've seen panicky soon-to-be brides trying to shift a stone in the last three weeks. If you want to lose a stone in 4 weeks then a vlcd is the answer, surely you can put up with the boredom and price for that length of time if it is what you really want.

    Most people experience large losses for the first week or two, no matter what diet they are following. This is more down to water loss and glycogen depletion than real fat loss but it does help get you started. Maybe if you have a browse through the various diet sections here and see what others are doing or have done to see what might be right for you then something may leap out as ideal. It depends on your lifestyle and tastes.

    I lost 6 stone in 5 months with Lighterlife.....so yes...it is possible! I would recommend CD as you don't have enough to lose to go on LL, and you can choose different options of how you want to do it.
    Wk 1 = 7.6 Wk 2 = 7.4 Wk 3 = 3.3
    Wk 4 = 2.8 Wk 5 = 5.5 Wk 6 = Ill
    Wk 7 = 6.6 Wk 8 = 3.3 Wk 9 = 2.8
    Wk10 = 2.7 Wk11 = 5.6 Wk12 = 0.8
    Wk13 = 5.0 Wk14 = 3.3 Wk15 = 3.3
    Wk16 = 0.8 Wk17 = 2.2 Wk18 = 4.4
    Wk19 = 2.4 Wk20 = 1.5 Wk21 = Hols
    Wk22 = 3.9 TOTAL LOSS = 75lbs!

    Target Reached - 9st on 20.02.08
    Aim = to stay at 9st (126lb) for rest of my life!

    Management (weighed on a Tuesday):
    Wk 1 = 124 Wk 2 = 121.2 Wk 3 = 119.4 Wk 4 = 118 Wk 5 = 117 Wk 6 = 115.6 Wk 7 = 115 Wk 8 = 116 Wk 9 = 117 Wk 10 = 117 Wk 11 = 117

    Ticker reflects my daily weight - so will show daily fluctuation
